October Arrives In The 88th Assembly District So Enjoy The Weekend

Where did September go? It seems like we were just celebrating Labor Day yet October arrives this weekend. That means a great deal of fun fall activities in the cities, towns and villages of the 88^th Assembly District.

Yom Kippur is also this weekend. Yom Kippur – the Day of Atonement – marks the culmination of the 10 Days of Awe, a period of introspection and repentance. I hope that everyone who is observing has an easy fast.

Closing In On Spring

Dear friends and neighbors,

Spring is almost here and what better way to celebrate the impending change of seasons than to enjoy the sights and sounds of the cities, towns and villages in the 88^th Assembly District. There are plenty of holiday celebrations and parades this weekend so get out and enjoy them all.

• The Hitchcock Presbyterian Church (6 Greenacres Avenue, Scarsdale) will host the first of five performances in the 2017 Marguerite Manley Memorial Lenten Organ Recital Series at noon.
