Enjoying A July Weekend In The 88th Assembly District

Summer is in full swing and what better way to enjoy it than to spend some time shopping, eating and relaxing in the cities, towns and villages of the 88^th Assembly District. There are plenty of things to do and see this weekend, including music, movies and dancing.

A Musical Summer In The 88th Assembly District

We’re nearing the end of June and as the weather starts to get hotter so does the music scene in the 88^th Assembly District. There are plenty of free concerts around the district this summer, both during the day and in the evening. Here’s a closer look at some of the free shows.

SCARSDALE

ts at Chase Park in Scarsdale. The concerts, which will take place on July 7, 14, 21, 28 and Aug. 4, are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. The rain location is Scarsdale High School. The Westchester Band will also perform on June 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Scarsdale Municipal Pool [311 Mamaroneck Road] as part of Scarsdale’s Fourth of July celebration. There will be fireworks and this concert has a $2 admission fee.

EASTCHESTER

The Eastchester Summer Sounds Concert Series will take place on Wednesday at 8 p.m. between July 6 and Aug. 10 at the Lake Isle Country Club driving range. The concerts are free but food and drinks available for purchase at The Balcony Café by Mulinos. The rain dates for the concerts are on Thursday. The performers scheduled to appear are:
