Music, Farmer’s Markets And Fun This Weekend In The 88th Assembly District

If you like good music, interesting historical tours and a wonderful group of farmer’s markets then the 88th Assembly District is the place to be this weekend. Our cities, towns and villages have everything you need to enjoy your weekend and beat the summer heat.

THURSDAY

  • The New Rochelle Council on the Arts will continue its “Pop-Up Performances” at the New Rochelle Train Station from 5:30-7 p.m. The concerts will run every Thursday through Aug. 25. Visit newrochellearts.org for more information.

  • The Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum (895 Shore Road, Pelham Bay Park) will “A Mansion and Cottage Trolley Tour” from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The tour includes stops at Wave Hill, Van Cortlandt House and the Edgar Allen Poe Cottage. Enjoying A July Weekend In The 88th Assembly District

Summer is in full swing and what better way to enjoy it than to spend some time shopping, eating and relaxing in the cities, towns and villages of the 88th Assembly District. There are plenty of things to do and see this weekend, including music, movies and dancing.

  • Journalist and historian Alison Cowan will speak at the St. Paul’s Church National Historic Site (897 S. Columbus Avenue, Mount Vernon) about Deborah Sampson, a woman who disguised herself as a man in order to fight in the American Army during the Revolutionary War.
