Dear friends and neighbors,
I’m looking forward to a big weekend in the 88th Assembly District. There is plenty to do and see in our cities, towns and villages. So whether you like music, discussions or festivals, you’ll have plenty of activities from which to choose to make your weekend special.

THURSDAY

- The Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum (895 Shore Road, Pelham Bay Park) will host “Time Will Tell: Clocks at Bartow-Pell” at 7:30 p.m. There will be a presentation by John Metcalfe, owner and founder of Antiquarian Horologist. - ArtsBash 2016 will take place at ArtsWestchester (31 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains) from 6-9 p.m. The evening will include food from more than 30 area restaurants, the “SHE: Deconstructing Female Identity” exhibition along with female chefs, craft beer, and open artist studios. - Bicycle Sundays are back on the Bronx River Parkway. The BRP will be open to cyclists and pedestrian traffic between the County Center in White Plains and Scarsdale Road in Yonkers between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Visit westchestergov.com for more information.
- The Chabad Jewish Center will host a Garden Party for Women from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lake Isle Country Club (660 White Plains Road). Shaindy Jacobson, the director of the Jewish Learning Institute for Women, will be the guest speaker and present “Everything I Know About Happiness I Learned From Sadness”.
