I was saddened to hear the news today that Ed Koch died. He came along at a time when New York City needed healing, financially and physically, and did a wonderful job of mending it back together. He gave his heart and soul to New York and tried to make New York a better place to live. As New Yorkers, it is almost as if we lost a little piece of ourselves today. I want to express my condolences to his family. I don’t know if we’ll ever see another politician like him.
